given: kx² + 13x - 6 = 0 &
x = -3 is one sol.
u can subst. x = -3 into eqn like this:
k(-3)² + 13(-3) - 6 = 0
=> 9k - 39 - 6 = 0
=> k = 5
u r almost there, u just din subst. x = -3 into 13x to become 13 x (-3)
& the eqn is: 5x² + 13x - 6 = 0
continue the rest , u may , hmmm ?
