I am facing a problem answering this question as my previous answer was wrong and i can't figure out how else to do the question

Your method seems correct but the numbers don't make sense. Maybe somethings wrong with the question itself
That seems likely but somehow i got a feeling that the question is doable
K had 5 times as much as N.
K used 1050 beads.
N used 314 beads.
Both have the same number of beads at the end.
The difference in the starting number of beads must have been 1050 - 314 = 736, which corresponds to 4 extra units of beads.
4 units = 736 beads
1 unit = 184 beads
5 units = 920 beads
Question fault. Obviously the teacher who creates this question does not bother to check the validity of the solutions.
I have seen lots of erroneous questions over my past years of looking at various questions.
Try changing 5 times to 3 times. The question should be doable after that.
