R takes 4 hours to paint the same house.
This means that in 1 hour,
T can complete 1/6 of a house.
R can complete 1/4 of a house.
Working together, they can complete 1/6 + 1/4 = 5/12 of a house.
Time taken to paint the entire house
= 1 divided by 5/12
= 12/5
= 2.4 hours
= 2 hours 24 minutes
R takes 4 hours to paint the same house.
This means that in 1 hour,
T can complete 1/6 of a house.
R can complete 1/4 of a house.
