Shaded area is equal to unshaded area.
Shaded area = 12 + 20 = 32
Since shaded area = unshaded area.
Total area for the whole figure = 32 x 2= 64.
Therefore, Length x Length = 64. (Square)
Hence , Length = 8 cm (8 x8=64)
