Pls help me I need to pass it up tmr so I need you quickly
12 pens = 3 sets of $y
So 3 pens cost $3y.
1 pen = $(y/4) if all pens cost the same
Since 1 ruler costs $2 less than a pen,
Cost of 1 ruler
= $[(y/4) - 2]
You can pretend y = 4 and then see what you would do with regular numbers. With letters like y it’s quite similar except that your answer will contain y.
