$12 divided by $2=6

But my teacher told the answer and it was $20 10a.m.
(a) First 2 hours->$6
Next 4 hours->$2×4=$8
$8+$6=$14
(b) $18-(first few hours)=$18-$6=$12
$12=6 hours
