No, the answer is not 66. How did you get 69 - 3?

The men are all of different ages.

In order for the youngest man to have the least possible age, the other men must be as old as possible based on the given info.

Oldest man is 69 years old. The 2 next oldest men would be 68 and 67 years old.

So the youngest man would be

268 - 69 - 68 - 67 = 64 years old

Depends on whether age is defined to be in years only or in years and months. I have seen some texts using years and months for age.

In that situation,

- the oldest man is 69 years
- the next oldest is 68 years 11 months
- the next one is 68 years 10 months

And the last one is done by subtraction.

Doubt it's meant to be so graduated. If it was ,one could go narrower to days, hours , minutes even

For those that go to months, it's usually testing conversion and addition/subtraction
