Price of 3 apples is the same as two pears. So with 3/7 of his money, he can actually buy 10+2+2=14 pears.
Then with remaining of his money( 4/7 of his money), he can buy 14/3*4 =18 pears (round of to the lower integer).
So the answer is (3)
