what does the question want actually? base on what i can see, it is to simplify it i suppose? if that is the case, draw a right angle triangle with 1 as hypotenuse and x and sqrt(1-x^2) as the other two sides. it immediately follows that sin^-1 sqrt(1-x^2) is the same as cos^-1 x.

This would be the answer if the question is asking for the derivative of the expression. This is just using chain rule for the arcsine derivative and the square roots. Similarly you can use substitution method to make the workings clearer
