I just realised that after using the “angle at centre is twice the angle at circumference” and “opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary” rules, this question is faulty at the Secondary 3 level.

How is it erroneous?

a is 40
b is 65

But at the other end of the 100 degrees, at F, it’s 100/2 = 50

40 + 65 + 50 = 155 which is not equal to 180.

Edit: never mind, I visualised the wrong connecting line when doing the property. Went to look at EFH instead of EFG.
