With 8 tables comes 32 legs.
Replace one table by one chair and we get one leg less.
With 7 tables and 1 stool comes 31 legs.
With 6 tables and 2 stools comes 30 legs.
With 5 tables and 3 stools comes 29 legs.
And so on.
So there are 5 tables and 3 stools.
