= $2.50 + $5 + $4

fare = $18
= $2.50 + $2.00 + $0.10 x 10 000/200 + $0.10 x 300u/150
= $2.50 + $2 + $5 + $0.20u
= $9.50 + $0.20u
18 = 9.50 + 0.20u
u = 42.5
max. dist.
= 10 km + 42.5 x 300 m
= 10 km + 12.75 km
= 22.75 km
