If possible, please provide some help for this question [ both part (a) and (b) ]. Any help will be appreciated, regardless of whether or not it will assist me in overcoming the difficulty of this question. Thank you!
(a) Leaf C. In the plastic bag wrapping leaf C, there is a substance to produce carbon dioxide, adding to the amount of carbon dioxide in the plastic bag wrapping. Consequently, the amount of carbon dioxide in the plastic bag wrapping leaf C is the highest and leaf C will photosynthesize at the fastest rate to produce the most amount of food.
(b) Area B. While both Area A and B of the leaf are exposed to sunlight, only Area B of the leaf is green in colour and contains chlorophyll that traps sunlight needed for Area B of the leaf to carry out photosynthesis to make food. Hence, most of the food is made by Area B of the leaf.
a: Leaf C. More carbon dioxide allows leaf C to have more of the ingredient needed in the process of photosynthesis so the leaf can photosynthesise faster thus the conclusion that leaf C has the fastest rate of photosynthesis.
b: Part B. The green chlorophyll of leaf B that can trap sunlight is exposed to sunlight thus it can make food through photosynthesis.
