You can divide the figure like this, and shift the areas. You will end up with a rectangle that is 25m by 2m. (I've only shown the divisions for 1 side, you can try the dividing other side on your own.
The area not covered by path
= area of whole rectangle - area of the shaded rectangle formed
= 11m x 25m - 2m x 25m
= 275m² - 50m²
= 225m²

Or you can shift the entire bottom white area to join the top white area. This leaves the rectangle below (marked by the red line), which is 2m by 25m. The combined area of the white areas is of a rectangle 9m by 25m. 9m x 25m = 225m²
