tan ∠PQB = opp/adj = 23/95

∠ PQB = arctan(23/95) or tan-¹(23/95)

∠ PQB is the angle of elevation of B from Q.

Since angle of elevation of B from Q = angle of depression of Q from B, (alternate angles, you should know this)

angle of depression of Q from B
= tan-¹(23/95)
≈ 13.6097319°
= 13.6° (1 d.p)

Use Cosine rule to solve angle PQR. You need to refer to the actual formula to solve (a)

For (b), angle of depression is measure from the vertical pole.
