note:
u hv found the total distance all the boys jumped,
which u hv added all the distances to 1784 cm [gd job!]
so for part (b)
avg distance = 178.4 cm
no. of boys = 10
total distance = 178.4 x 10 = 1784 cm
which is the same as what u found by adding all the distances.

Just take 178.4 x 10 boys = 1784
