So for 12 cars, it's 12/36 of that.
12/36 =⅓
So for 12 cars it will take ⅓ of an 1 hr , which is 20 min
Or
Time taken
= 12/36 x 1 h
= 1/3 x 1h
= 1/3 h
= 20/60 h
= 20 min
