Hi please hire me to tutor you for Maths! I am very good at explaining to students complex problem sum questions!

See 1 Answer

3 sweets = 335 left
5 sweets = 307 short

Of he were to give every student 2 more sweets (increment from 3 to 5 is 2), he would need 642 sweets.
Hence, number of student = 642 sweets divide by 2 = 321 students

321 students x 3 sweets + 335 left = 1298

OR

321 students x 5 sweets - 307 short = 1298
