Pls explain c
① Figure number and the number of white rectangles in the figure are always the same.
②Number of dark rectangles is always twice of the number of white rectangles in each figure.
③Number of stars is always one more than number of dark rectangles in each figure.
So if you let number of white rectangles be 1 unit,
Then ,
dark rectangles = 2 units
Stars = 2 units + 1
Total = 1 unit + 2 units + 2 units + 1
= 5 units + 1
5 units + 1 = 621
5 units = 620
1 unit = 124
So the figure number is 124 since 1 unit is the number of white rectangles
See 1 Answer
Number of rectangles = 3 x 59 = 186
Number of stars = 58 x 2 + 3 = 119
Total shapes = 119 + 186 = 305
Part b:
429/3 = 143
Part c:
Total number of shapes = Rectangles + Stars = (3+3) + (3+2) = 3+3+5n
n = number of sequence
621-3-3=615
615/5 = 123
n = 123 (Ans)
The total number of shapes = 5n + 1 , not 5n + 6
