Someone please help me for part D thanks in advance
Then you know the base and height of the triangle from the y intercept's y coordinate (already found earlier) and x intercept's x coordinate.
The triangle formed with the x and y axis is always a right angled triangle since the two axes are perpendicular/orthogonal to each other.
Apply area of triangle after that.
Edit : note that the x intercept is negative. So you'll have to take the absolute value of the result of the calculation.
Final answer is 2 2/15 square units or units²

Remember that a triangle is made up of three straight lines. In this situation, the three lines of interest are the straight line 5y - 3x - 8 = 0, the x-axis and the y-axis. The region enclosed by the three lines, which I have shaded in red, is the area of the triangle to be found. I have included the diagram for reference.
To find the area of the triangle, we need the base of the triangle and the height of the triangle. To do so, we need to find the x-intercept and the y-intercept. This facilitates the obtaining of the base and the height of the triangle respectively.
