Number of ways for first digit = 8
(since no 0 or 1 allowed)
Number of ways for third digit = 10
(No restriction since middle digit isn't 0)
Total number of ways here = 8 x 10 = 80
Case ② : 2nd digit is 0
Number of ways for first digit = 8
(Since no 0 or 1 allowed)
Number of ways for third digit = 9
(0 is not allowed since middle digit is 0)
Total number of ways here = 8 x 9 = 72
Total for case 1 and 2
= 72 + 80
= 152
Number of ways for first digit = 8
(since no 0 or 1 allowed)
Number of ways for third digit = 10
