Change 49 to 48 as 48 isn't divisible exactly by 3.
Or change the fraction to 2/11.

The fraction of fishballs sold in the morning is 2/7 of total. So we can say it's 2 units of 7 units.
2 units for morning, so for the afternoon,
7 units - 2 units = 5 units
Difference between morning and afternoon would be :
5 units - 2 units = 3 units
So 3 units = 48 fishballs
1 unit = 48 fishballs ÷ 3
= 16 fishballs
Number of fishballs Mr Lam prepared
= 16 x 7
= 112
