Number of pears = kiwis
Price of 1 pear = $2.90 / 4 = 29/40
Price of 1 Kiwi = $1.85 / 3 = 37/60
Difference in price = 29/40 - 37/60
= 13/120
$16.9 / (13/120) = 156
Sold 156 pears.

Pears + Kiwis = 40%
Pears = 20% since number of pears = kiwis
20% = 156
60% = 156 x 3
= 468 apples sold
6 apples = $3.65
468 apples = ($3.65 / 6) x 468
= $284.70
