remove the iron rod from both set-ups P & Q
the no. of clips attracted by P is more than the no. of clips by Q.
reason: the coil can still attract the clips in the set-ups P & Q.
the iron rod helps to concentrate and increase the magnetic strength in the coil.
*However, the no. of clips for P & Q is much less than that in the previous experiment.
(c)
1. add more dry cells
or
2. increase the no. of turns in the coil in set-up Q.
note:
1.more turns in a coil, not more coils ; there is only 1 coil in each set-up.
2. dry cell (only 1 in the diagram), not batteries, 'cos 2 or more dry cells make 1 battery
&
2 or more sets of 2 or more dry cells make 2 or more batteries
...
