length PQ = 3 units, breadth PS = 2 units
2 units = 28cm
1 unit = 28cm ÷ 2 = 14cm
PQ = 3 units = 14cm x 3 = 42cm
Or
If breadth is ⅔ of length, then length is 3/2 of breadth.
So PQ = 14cm x 3/2 = 42cm
TU = 1/6 of PQ
= 1/6 x 42cm
= 7cm
Height of shaded triangle
= 28cm - TU
= 28cm - 7cm
= 21cm
Area of shaded triangle
= ½ x base x height
= ½ x 42cm x 21cm
(since base is same as length of rectangle)
= 441cm²
Area of rectangle
= Length x breadth
= 42cm x 28cm
= 1176cm²
Unshaded area
= Area of rectangle - area of shaded triangle
= 1176cm² - 441cm²
= 735cm²

The TU is 1/6 of the length PQ instead of the breadth. So the height of the triangle would be 28cm - 7cm = 21 cm instead
