You cannot draw them to be the same length as they don't have the same number of eggs

Let Farmer A's broken eggs : 2 units

Farmer B's broken eggs :
Twice of Farmer A = 2 x 2 units = 4 unit

Farmer A's leftover eggs : 2 units + 1240

Farmer B's leftover eggs : ½ of Farmer A's
= ½(2 units + 1240)
= 1 unit + 620

Total eggs = 2 units + 2 units + 1240 + 4 units + 1 unit + 620

= 9 units + 1860

9 units + 1860 = 2535
9 units = 2535 - 1860 = 675

1 unit = 675 ÷ 9 = 75

Eggs farmer A had left
= 2 units + 1240
= 2 x 75 + 1240
= 150 + 1240
= 1390

Eggs farmer B had at first

= 4 units + 1 unit + 620
= 5 units + 620
= 5 x 75 + 620
= 375 + 620
= 995
