not enuh info, but to assume the following:
by observation,
short side of footpath is 7x50
= 350 cm long
long side of footpath is 11x50
= 550 cm long
(a)
area of footpath
= 550 x 100 + 250 x 100
= 80 000 cm²
= 8 m²
area of 36 tiles
= π x 0.5 x 0.5 / 4 x 36
= 2.25π
= 7.065 m²
area not covered by tiles
= 8-7.065
= 0.935 m²
(b)
length of grass patch
= 550-100
= 450 cm or 4.5 m
breadth of grass patch
= 350-100
= 250 cm or 2.5 m
perimeter
= (4.5+2.5) x 2
= 14 m
