The numbers can be paired like this. They all end with a digit 0 in the ones place.
Because 0 + 0 = 0 , adding them together gives a bigger number which also has a digit 0 in the ones place.
You are left with number 55 which does not have a partner to be paired with. 55 has a digit 5 in the ones place.
Now 5 + 0 = 5
So when you add 55 to the bigger number(which has a 0 in the ones place), the ones digit will still be 5.
