The average speed would be the total distance traveled divided by the total time.

60km/h x 3h = 180km.
Total distance = 180km + 140km (remaining) = 320km

Time taken for remaining 140km = 140km divided by 70km/h = 2h.
Total time for entire journey = 2h + 3h = 5h.

Hence, average speed for the whole journey:
320km divided by 5h = 64km/h

Find the distance for the first part. Then find the time taken for the second part. Add the distance together then divide by the total time.
