Draw Rita's as 1 unit, and Tim's as 1 unit + $50.

Their total = 2 units + $50

Now Jack has half of their total, so draw Jack as 1 unit + $25

So total of Jack and Tim is

1 unit + $25 + 1 unit + $50
= 2 units + $75

Since Rita's is 1 unit, and she has ⅓ of Jack and Tim's total,

1 unit is ⅓ of 3 units

So this tells 3 units is the same as 2 units + $75

Which also means $75 = 1 unit

All 3 children = 4 units = $75 x 4 = $300
