Please help me to solve this question
In a rectangle there are two breadths.
So two breadths = 20% x 2
= 40% of perimeter
So the two lengths must be
= 100% - 40%
= 60% of perimeter
One length is therefore 60% ÷ 2
= 30% of perimeter
So 30% of perimeter is 42cm.
30% also = 30/100 = 3/10
So 42cm is 3/10 of perimeter.
1/10 would be 42cm ÷ 3 = 14cm
Now breadth is 20% = 2/10 of perimeter
= 2 x 14cm
= 28cm
Area of rectangle = 28cm x 42cm
= 1176cm²
