You can let the remaining packets of milk
= 5 units

2/5 were sold . So that's 2 units.

So 3 units are left. That's ⅓ of the total.
So total = 3 units x 3 = 9 units


(Or change the numerator to the same as the number of units.

⅓ = 3/9

So total there are 9 units, 3 are left in the end)



Number of units thrown away
= 9 - 2 - 3 = 4

4 units = 104 packets

1 unit = 104 packets ÷ 4
= 26 packets

Total at first = 9 packets
= 9 x 26 packets
= 234 packets
