make the number of days the same
5 x 7 = 35
7 x 5 = 35

5 days to sew 2 shirts.
So in 35 days,

2 shirts x 7 = 14 shirts are sewn

7 days to sew 3 shirts
So in 35 days,

3 shirts x 5 = 15 shirts are sewn

So in 35 days, total shirts sewn
= 14 + 15 = 29

For 58 shirts,

58 ÷ 29 = 2

You need twice the time. So number of days = 35 x 2 = 70
