One Answer Below
Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
(a) Using the general form of quadratic function, y =ax^2+bx+c and the given coordinates, write down three equations in order to solve for a, b and c and show that the equation of graph representing the Singapore Sports Hub is y=-33/9610x^2+33/31x
when x = 310, y also = 0
when x = 155, y = 82.5
Substitute each pair into the equation ax² + bx + c = 0.
You will get 3 simultaneous equations to solve for a , b and c.
