= lg1 - lg2 + lg2 - lg 3 + lg 3 - lg4 + lg4 - lg5 + lg5 - ... - lg98 + lg98 - lg99 + lg99 - lg100
= lg1 - lg100
= 0 - lg(10)²
= -2lg10
= - 2
lg½ + lg⅔ + lg¾ + lg(4/5) + ... + lg(99/100)
= lg1 - lg2 + lg2 - lg 3 + lg 3 - lg4 + lg4 - lg5 + lg5 - ... - lg98 + lg98 - lg99 + lg99 - lg100
= lg1 - lg100

= - 2
