= 24 000 cm³
8 L = 8000 cm³
vol of jug: u
8000 + 5u = 24 000
u = 3200 cm³
(a)
vol of each jug is 3200 cm³
(b)
3 jugs = 3200 x 3 = 9600 cm³
need 9600-8000 = 1600 cm³ more
