In 22 years time, jean's mother will be 52 years old.
That means the mother is 52-22=30 years old now.
That means Jean is now 1/5*30=6 years old.
By guess and check, in 18 years time,
Jean will be 6+18=24
and her mother will be 30+18=48
That is when the mother is twice her age.
Answer is 18 years.
