I can’t draw for you here as I will not be able to show you how it’s done (the answers taken are only photos, not videos).

Follow these steps.

1. Draw a line 8 cm.

2. Put your set square along that line, with the right-angled edge of the set square touching the edge of the line.

3. Put a ruler next to the set square and perpendicular to the line. Rest your ruler against the set square and hold it.

4. Remove the set square whilst keeping the ruler intact. Draw a straight line first, sufficient to cover 4 cm.

5. Erase/add the line bit by bit until your line becomes 4 cm.

6. Success. You have drawn a line 4 cm which is perpendicular to the 8 cm line.

7. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to draw two more perpendicular lines of 4 cm and 8 cm to complete the rectangle.

8. Finally, check that the rectangle angles are all 90 degrees and the lengths are correct.

I think just ensure the 4 angles are at 90 degrees and the meaaurement should work out fine.
