Hi I understand the solution until the part 30=h(1/tan40+1/tan58) I really don’t understand why there’s suddenly a h in front with the bracket and all the way u down the qn I really don’t understand the working would really appreciate if someone could enlighten me abt this thank you!!!

h is a constant that's in the numerator of both of the fractions. It's basically factorising out the h and putting it outside.

The combined length of AQ and QB is 30m (as seen in the diagram). So the left hand side is 30
