actually this is under Sec 3 A maths

ya that why i ask if this is Sec 2 question. but for E maths, you will get to deal with simultanrous equation with 2 linear using 3 method.
1. elimination
2. Subsitution
3. Graphical.
but for A maths in Sec 3,
you might do 1 linear and 1 non-linear using subsitution method.
so techbically this question is out of syllabus for E maths.

tip: notice that both original equations contain 3y and 2x so try to use this similarity and sub in first instead of diving straight to combine the 2 fractions in equation 1
