The question is basically saying that the machine draws 4 identical circles ,and the circumference of all the circles combined is 44m
So 1 circle's circumference
= 44m ÷ 4
= 11m
Formula for circumference
= 2πr or πd
Notice that AB is just the radius.of a circle.
Taking the value of π to be 22/7,
2πr = 11
So r = 11m ÷ 2 ÷ 22/7
= 1.75m
So 1 circle's circumference
= 44m ÷ 4
= 11m
