Good evening Melody! Here are my solutions for the two questions.
In question 33, we have to substitute the given coordinates (i.e. x and y pair of values) into the equation to form two simultaneous non-linear equations involving variables a and n. We then proceed to use elimination techniques (in this case, by division) to eliminate the variable a and solve for the variable n before proceeding to solve for the variable a.
In question 36, we reduce non-primes like 125, 45 and 12 to a number as small as possible like how I have done in the working. We then proceed to group all the x together to make x the subject. Once that is done, we rationalise the denominator and simplify the expression until we obtain the required form.
Hopefully my workings help! If you do not understand the workings, let me know accordingly and I will do my best to explain them again!
