Alternative method:

If each interior angle = 156
then each exterior angle = 180 - 156 = 24

(exterior does not mean the entire exterior that causes the whole angle to be 360)

(if you have not leant exterior angles for polygons yet, you can ignore this working altogether)

Sum of all interior angles in any polygon is 360

If all exterior angles have value 24 and all add up to 360, then number of exterior angles = 360/24 = 15. There must have been 15 sides.

The value of n must be 15.
