The question is incomplete. There are two scenarios that can fit all the sentences in the question, but yet end up with 2 difference answers.

For the second scenario at the bottom, the total number of people in room X should total up to 45+15=60 NOT 70

tip: keep in mind that total = girls + boys and work towards reducing the equation to just 1 subject
