This is not a difficult question, it is just something which people usually forget because it is not the kind of question thst will be asked during major exams.
Still, handy to keep in mind as it is still part of the syllabus, especially the a^3 + b^3 since it is not part of your formula sheet

Last part should be
x² - (sum of roots)x + (product of roots) = 0
Not "+ (sum of roots)x"
x² - (sum of roots)x + (product of roots) = 0
Not "+ (sum of roots)x"
Thanks for pointing out the mistake. Yes it is supposed to be negative instead of positive.
