Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
Please help for (b)(ii), is this question common?
(n choose r) = n! / (n-r)!
From there you should able to get n in terms of a number instead of an expression.
For part ii, you will have to multiply the terms which will multiply to give you a constant (no x). Equate that to zero and you should be able to find n.
Unfortunately I am outside and unable to give a pictorial solution. If there are no other solutions tonight I will try and write one for you
