Remember the formula:
Volume = base area * height

Volume of water in A:
2/3 * 36* 48 = 1152 cm^3
(2/3 *36 is height and 48 is base area)

Volume of water that will be in B:
1152 cm^3 / 2 = 576 cm^3

Since volume = base area * height
Then height = volume / base area

Height of B = 576 / 60 = 9.6
