Fractions
Jamie needs 6 days to paint one house.
So in 1 day, she can paint 1/6 of a house.
The sister needs 10 days to paint a house. So in 1 day, she can paint 1/10 of a house.
1/6 + 1/10
= 5/30 + 3/30
= 8/30
= 4/15
Together, they can paint 4/15 of a house in 1 day.
In 3 days,
4/15 x 3 = 12/15 = 4/5
In 3 days, they can paint 4/5 of a house.
