You will learn the quotient rule next as this question is likely under the "Product Rule" theme in the book (I do not have that physical book though).
In red at the last few lines of my answers per question are the simplification workings, which is an option to do. A must if the question requires it, but I would recommend not to otherwise, since factorisations can often go wrong halfway.
