Hi Irah! Folding triangle ADC into triangle AEC means that the dimensions of triangle AEC are exactly the same as that of triangle ADC. We can then consider angles from the triangle do find angle BAE, for example, before proceeding to fins length BE based on triangle BAE. This is one possible way to do this question.

Hello Irah, as Tutor Nicholas mentioned in his explanation, you would need to make use of the fact that the triangle is a reflection.

I have slightly different triangle from him, making use of the answers you got prior to build up on this question.

Triangle BAE is also possible. It is just that you would have to find out AB as an additional step. Angle BAE can also be found with the same method as how I find BCE.
